Local Chapter Participation
Participate in our local chapter events and activities, including mothers' support meeting with topics pertinent to your life as an at-home mother, working mother, community service projects, moms' only night outs, and kids' socials.
 
Sisterhood and Community
Work in concert with mothers who understand your perspective as a stay at home mother of color, who share your experiences and who will both learn from you and teach you what they know. However, our sisterhood also includes working mothers who share similar experiences.
 
Leadership Opportunities
Use and develop leadership and management skills by taking a leadership role in your chapter. Chapter leadership offers a wonderful opportunity to use and hone your talents.
 
Online Support
Access to Member's Only Section of Mocha Moms, Inc. website which includes news and information, access to newsletters, photos and communications from chapters around the country, and links.
 
Conferences
Participation in all national, regional and state Mocha Moms, Inc. functions.
 

How to Join

Mocha Moms members are expected to participate in monthly support meetings, chapter community service projects, mom's night outs, fundraisers and events.

The annual membership fee is $70.

  2. On the right hand side, select the option, "NOT A MEMBER? JOIN TODAY"
  3. Fill out application and choose NJ- BERGEN COUNTY
  4. Submit your application/payment.
  5. Don't forget to Print or Save a copy of your application
  6. Send an electronic copy of your application/payment receipt to bergencountymochamoms@yahoo.com. You need JavaScript enabled to view it as soon as possible to ensure you will be added to our Yahoo! Group.  Make sure to accept the invitation that will be sent to you.
  7. Congratulations! You are a Mocha Mom!

PLEASE NOTE: Our organization is run on a fiscal year. Thus, all memberships expire on December 31st of the current year. Our yearly renewal period begins October 1st. Thus, if you join today, YOUR MEMBERSHIP WOULD BE VALID THRU 12/31/2025.
TERMS
By proceeding with this online application, you agree to abide by the Mocha Moms, Inc. Code of Conduct and all National and/or Local Chapter Bylaws. Based on the legal structure of Mocha Moms, Inc. (referred to as “nonmembership”), you understand that by paying dues, you are considered a “supporter” and not a legal member of Mocha Moms, Inc. Legal membership is limited to the National Board of Mocha Moms, Inc. only, however, as a member of a local chapter, you do have the rights and obligations accorded to members of that local chapter. In addition, you do hereby release Mocha Moms, Inc., its chapters, regions, officers, directors, representatives, founders, subsidiaries, affiliates, designees and assigns from any and all damages, claims, suits, expenses, liabilities, losses or any other cause of actions involving yourself, your property, a member of your family or any minor in your care which may arise at any activity sponsored by or affiliated with Mocha Moms, Inc. This waiver shall remain in effect for each year you belong to Mocha Moms, Inc. In addition, the National Board of Mocha Moms, Inc., at its own discretion, reserves the right to revoke the membership or supporter status of anyone at will.
